Differential-pressure transducer with high overload capacity.

The PUE 94 differential-pressure transducer records positive and negative differential pressure. The central unit is a pressure cell with a diaphragm spring made of beryllium bronze which, in accordance with the pressure difference, is displaced between two chambers. The displacement is measured, without making contact, via an inductive displacement recorder. The device does not contain any components that can rub against each other or parts subject to mechanical wear. The special feature of the PUE 94 is its extremely high overload capacity. In the event of a fault, a valve interrupts the pneumatic connection between connecting tube and pressure cell. Due to the high overload capacity, this pressure transducer is particularly suitable for use in equipment in which pressure fluctuations could occur, e.g. pressure monitoring in printing equipment or textile machines, or in systems that have to be flushed with compressed air.

The 3 or 4-figure LC display is available as an option. In addition to Pa and kPa, it can also display mmWs etc. An optional time constant up to 5 s (only pressure transducer) means the device can also be used under fluctuating pressure conditions and generates a stabilised output signal.
